Publisher Denies Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie Are the Real Voice behind the Pen Name “The Holy Ghost Writer”

The mystery of the author of the three successful books by Holy Ghost Writer remains unsolved.

San Francisco, CA — Illuminated Publications, the publisher of these and other books authored by “Holy Ghost Writer” has issued an official statement denying the famous couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are not the “Holy Ghost Writer”, trying to put to rest to growing speculation that the husband / wife team were the real faces behind the “Holy Ghost Writer” - author of several bestselling books such as “The Sultan of Monte Cristo” and “That Girl Started Her Own Country”.

While this official clarification should put rumors about Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie to rest, it re-opens the mystery behind who is the real person behind the intriguing pen name. The Holy Ghost Writer has been compared to several famous authors for his works. He has been heralded as the new Stieg Larrson for “That Girl Started Her Own Country”, the successor of Alexander Dumas for “The Sultan of Monte Cristo” and the next Ray Bradbury for “The Boy Who Played with Dark Matter”.

Each of these books are said to have clues that will point you to the identity of the true author, but more than a year after the first release the identity still alludes the masses.

While the ongoing mystery of the true identity of the Holy Ghost Writer is still waiting to be solved the undisputable fact remains—the literature is a true act of literary genius.  Each book in this series has received critical acclaim.

For added mystery, the books in the series have not been released in chronological order.  The first two books published in the series “The Count of Monte Cristo” and “The Sultan of Monte Cristo” are set in the past; but these two were followed by the 6th book in the series “The Girl Who Started Her Own Country” set in present day, and the next one published is the 11th book in the series “The Boy Who Played With Dark Matter” set in year 2099. It’s like the author is uncovering the pieces of a giant puzzle in random order.

While the clarification of Illuminated Publications should put rumors about Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie to be the real face of Holy Ghost Writer to rest, it re-opens the mystery behind who is the real person behind the mysterious author. As for all the writer’s followers and fans, reading through his books and piecing together the clues that he has left behind is all that can be done for now.

Does the Circle of Life Only Apply To Wildlife?

When we talk about animals that live in the wild we often talk about the circle of life and how each animal lives in a habitat they were designed specifically to thrive in.  For example you would not find a lion at the North Pole or a Polar Bear in the jungle.

I am sure you have heard stories of animals in the wild that learn to adapt to their changing habitats to survive or become endangered species because they are not able to find a way to adapt to the changes in today’s world—survival of the fittest.

For humans it is far easier for us to adapt to different environments from one continent to the next.  However what began as simple advances to make our environments easier to adapt to has turned into a never-ending need for comfort and luxury.  However, the lifestyles and habits that epitomize ultimate luxury and comfort come at a high financial cost, and more importantly a high natural resource cost.

To make more room for the rapidly expanding population we cut down our forests, to grow less expensive produce we over process our crops and ruin our soil, to power our factories we emit harmful toxins into the air, and for convenience we dump waste into our bodies of water contaminating it to the extent that we are killing sea life.

Most human beings seem to fully comprehend (if not feel compassion) for animals that go extinct or that are struggling to survive in their deteriorating natural habitats, but too many of us are not able to draw the link to what we have in common with these struggling animals—humans will all too soon be struggling along with wildlife.

The modern need for comfort and luxury has us destroying irreplaceable natural resources that supply us with our basic needs—air, water, and food.  As we continue to take from Mother Earth for our luxury and convenience we further destroy the habitats of wildlife.  As these unnatural habitats continue to decline we continue to throw the circle of life off balance.

It is easy to think of animals going extinct but as we continue to destroy nature the animals that will be struggling to survive won’t be wildlife but walking, talking, and thinking mammals—human beings.

To explore our connection to nature and to challenge your thought process of “want vs. need” you can read the beautifully depicted fictional tale My Green Friend Amay.  This is the first in a four part series that provides readers with a poignant and thought provoking story delivered in a relaxed and charming manner.  While the principals within this series are quite deep they are unveiled in the pages of the story of a young girl named Dawna who grew up in a world quite different from the one we live in today.

Does Everything Really Happen For A Reason?

“I believe that everything happens for a reason. People change so that you can learn to let go, things go wrong so that you appreciate them when they're right, you believe lies so you eventually learn to trust no one but yourself, and sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.”  Marilyn Monroe

Everything happens for a reason.”  This phrase is often used as motivation to inspire us to keep moving forward in challenging times or to celebrate leaving behind a trying time.  There are times in our life where we can clearly look back at the simple ripple that sparked an ocean of change that has lead us to a more positive place—even the ripples that began from a negative encounter.

Maybe the unhealthy relationship you were in promoted you to move for the job in a new city where you met the love of your life.  Or maybe the patience you developed growing up with your sister with the excessive need for attention gave you the skillset to require for professional patience.

Sometimes we are clearly able to see how negative and frustrating circumstances created a chain of events that lead to a positive outcome, but sometimes the negativity doesn’t seem to be connected to anything more than more negativity.

How is there value in growing up with parents that have an abusive relationship?  How did growing up in a single parent home benefit you?  Wouldn’t you have a happier life if you didn’t feel like your parents favored your brother more than you?

We can’t change someone else, but we can change how we respond to the negative people in our lives and we can change the direction we take our lives.  If you are ready to let go and change the things you can the book “Branches From the Same Tree WhetherBroken or Reaching” is the perfect place to start.

Mommy Porn: eBook Proliferation Leads to Rise of a New Genre

Although the erotic romance genre has been around for a while, the category seems to have picked up in recent years with the advent of ebook technology. The best part about today’s EE romances i.e. electronic erotic romances is that one can enjoy them without having to endure the cashier's smirks at the bookstore or the uncomplimentary furtive glances of your fellow commuters at your book’s adults-only cover. Even the sauciest, steamiest, and most sensual novels with high-resolution imagery can be downloaded in the privacy of your ebook reader in the middle of a crowd, with no one noticing anything – unless, of course, you react to the titillating words and have an orgasm right there on the moving train.

Interestingly, some of the hottest erotic romances that are making waves these days are coming from some very talented new authors. These aren't your conventional bodice-ripper paperbacks; neither are they "50 Shades of Grey," with its somewhat cringe-worthy BDSM scenes and degrading slave contracts. The newest sensual romances are tender, sweet, and yet sexy enough to earn the dubious classification of mommy porn.

Yes, hot and sexy is the popular sentiment among today’s erotic romance writers. The hotter and sexier, the better.

This summer, the rise in ambient temperature is matched by the sizzling-hot-and-sexy newly released romance series
Private Emotions, written by the up-and-coming British author Elize Amornette.

The series opens with "Appointments," where we get to know young Emily Harris, who starts a chain reaction when she meets her best friend for coffee. That innocent meeting with a friend leads to series of events resulting in her being engulfed in a haze of love, romance, and sexual discovery with Ethan Sterling.

Emily’s trust in Ethan finally gives her the courage to break free from the chains that have suppressed her sexually all her life – but at what cost?  In Book 2, "Invitations," young Emily has fallen madly in love with Ethan but is forced to confront her inhibitions again and again, as Ethan continues to push beyond her boundaries.

In Book 3, "Promises," it appears that Emily has finally found her zone of comfort. She now feels confident that there are no surprises left, sexual or otherwise, with Ethan. How solid and unshakeable is her newfound confidence? Will Ethan be able to still surprise her nonetheless?

A delightfully sexy and sensual series, the Private Emotions trilogy is a thoroughly engrossing read. The story is well written, with engaging characters and a lively plot that propels you to the end as if there will be no 6 a.m. alarm in the morning.

The Kindle and print editions of the Private Emotions series are available at
Amazon.com,  Amazon UK, Amazon Canada, Amazon India, and other national Amazon sites.

The Two Faces of Telepathy

Telepathy is being able to read others’ minds, as well as being able to transmit your thoughts to them – without the use of any sensory channels and physical contact.

Telepathy in modern media has always been portrayed as a gift. Superheroes and super villains alike have been using telepathy to gain whatever advantage they can have over the other. Normal people with this ability use it on everything from playing simple pranks on others to completing otherworldly tasks.
As such, most likely everyone has wished to have this gift at least once.

Brightside by Mark Tullius tackles telepathy in a different direction – in a way that would make you not want to have this ability.

Brightside is the name of a beautiful mountain town. But it’s not like any other normal town. It’s a place where telepaths from all over the country are sent. The telepaths are told that it could be a very nice place for them, as long as they stick to some rules and don’t even think about leaving. That should be a fair trade for safety, right?

Joe Nolan, the main character of the story, is one of these telepaths. For his whole life, he’s been hearing the thoughts of others – whether he wants to or not. And like many others, he hoped that Brightside would provide solace for his unwanted ability.

However, Brightside isn’t what it’s all hyped up to be. After 100 days in the town, Joe finds himself in a situation where nothing you do – even nothing you think – will keep you safe. What do you do when even the deepest, darkest corners of your mind can be read like an open book? Where can you run? How can you hide?

The book is a fresh take on telepathy and how it could also have negative effects. It’s not just a superpower or a cool magic trick – it could also be a curse that, unfortunately, is very hard to get rid of.

Brightside by Mark Tullius is available in eBook format at Barnes & Noble. Click on the link to preview the book or download your own copy.

Strength in the Face of Adversity

Strength is very hard to maintain in the face of adversity. It is even harder to find it once it’s lost.

Adversity comes in many forms – be it physical, mental, spiritual, emotional, or social. It is hard to keep your strength through one kind of adversity, and even harder still when all these forms come together.

Whatever adversity you are facing, there are ways to make sure that you stay strong through them.

  • Keep your eyes on your goal. Adversity is one huge distraction. Difficult, but still just a distraction. “Keep your eyes on the prize,” as the saying goes, and it’s not just a cute rhyme. If your goal is something that you really want to happen, then you would draw strength from that fact. You would take on whatever challenges are thrown your way to make sure that your goal is achieved.
  • Seek support from your loved ones. Support from your loved ones, both friends and family, will give you that extra push to stay strong. If you are alone in adversity, it would be very easy to just give up. However, if there are people supporting you, it would be very tough to tell them that you’ve let them down.
  • Believe in yourself. This is probably the most important thing that you can do. Adversity comes and goes, as does in every person’s life. This is what defines people – how they handle the toughest times that are sent their way. If you continue to believe in yourself, if you continue to work hard, and if you continue to keep your eyes on your goal as you receive support from your loved ones, your strength in the face of adversity will never waver.

Storm Clouds Rolling In” by Ginny Dye is a story of a woman whose strength is tested in the face of adversity – and in this historical fiction novel, adversity comes in the form of the Civil War.

The Negative Impacts of Mining on the Environment

Mining is a multi-billion dollar industry. From coal to copper to diamonds, the mining industry produces several valuable commodities that the world and its people need.

However, mining by its very nature is destructive. It seeks to obtain these minerals by extracting them from the earth. Because of this, it has several negative impacts on the environment.

  • Water pollution. Mining processes use enormous amounts of water and chemicals over the course of its process. If the resulting mixture of water and chemicals is not disposed of properly, it can contaminate bodies of water – bodies of water that may be the habitat for animals and/or a water source for people.
  • Soil pollution. Similarly to water pollution, the chemicals used may also seep into the soil if not properly disposed of, contaminating the earth. This affects the viability of the soil to grow plants, and could be a health risk to both human and animal inhabitants of the area.
  • Air pollution. Different toxic fumes will be released into the air during mining, be it from the chemicals used or the machines and equipment utilized. These air contaminants are even harder to contain, and could travel to residential areas near the mining project.
  • Deforestation. Trees, shrubs and other plants need to be removed before the mining process can start digging for the minerals buried under the ground. Once the mining project is finished, it may be impossible to rehabilitate the forest if the area ends up polluted.
  • Habitat modification. As mines are dug up, the surrounding areas are drastically affected. Erosion and sedimentation contribute to these changes, which either displace the organisms in these areas or makes it impossible for them to survive.

"The Mines of Future" by Aldo Mango is an eBook that delves deeper into the mining process – how the mining waste can be maintained and disposed of properly, how it can be recycled, and how all this can create a positive situation for the environment and the people instead of creating a negative one.

"The Mines of Future" is currently available in PDF format. Click on the link to preview the book or download your own copy.

The Many Forms of Bravery

Bravery is an often romanticized idea in modern media. It is almost always a topic in books, television shows and movies. It also defines people in their real life experiences, as it shows your ideals and beliefs.

However, it is also often underestimated and unappreciated – both in media and in real life. This is probably because people don’t realize it at first glance because of its many forms.

The forms of bravery are as follows:

  • ·         Physical bravery. This is the kind of bravery that is most often depicted in stories – and in some cases, the only form that’s appreciated. It takes physical bravery to stand up to others who are bigger and stronger than you, just as how David stood up against Goliath.
  • ·         Intellectual bravery. This is the kind of bravery that relies not on the strength of muscles, but on the strength of reasoning. It takes intellectual bravery to believe on your intellect even when everyone else thinks otherwise, just as how Galileo believed that the Earth revolved around the sun.
  • ·         Social bravery. This is the kind of bravery that tests your beliefs and leadership at the risk of social rejection. It takes social bravery to believe in a way of life with your whole self, just as how Mahatma Gandhi believed in non-violence towards independence.
  • ·         Moral bravery. This is the kind of bravery that allows you to keep doing the right thing even when it is very difficult to do so. It takes moral bravery to help others no matter what the situation and consequences, just as how Mother Teresa helped the poor.

The book “Counting Coup: The Odyssey Of Captain Tom Adams” by Bob Stockton is a story of a journey to uncover and understand a figure in American history that is often associated with bravery – legendary trapper and scout Kit Carson of the old Wild West.
